Core Values

Teamwork within the foundation phase focuses on encouraging your team, never giving up and working together. Teamwork within the club as a whole is a key factor in our club, not just on the pitch but off it as well, from the committee of volunteers to all the coaches within the club who without their support the club would not achieve grassroots success.

We respect each other, play fairly and be friendly. We play by the rules and respect the referee. Always playing our best for the benefit of the team. We also understand that mistakes are a tool to be used for learning.

Our enjoyment is not focused on victory, but seeing players develop and how they grow into young adults inside and outside of football which brings it own enjoyment. The winning at all costs ethos we choose to leave to other clubs. 

On and off the field we try and be as disciplined as possible. As coaches we set an example to the younger kids within the club. As a team and club we support encouragement of players and self reflection. 

Win, lose or draw, shake hands, support positive behaviour and performance of not just Horwich RMI AFC but any visiting clubs.
